If you fall from the top deck you will not survive. Hitting the water from that height would be like hitting concrete.

People hardly ever fall over cruise ships and if they do they were probably really drunk. And by the time they find out there missing there's no way they could be rescued.

Almost pushed a co-worker out the porthole one night, but unfortunately didn't. One guy was surfing by holding onto bed sheets tied together. He was picked up a couple hours later after a knot came undone.
